Unusual big red 'stains' on cheek (photos).

Post a new topicby amigoder on Wed Mar 10, 2010 8:43 am

Hello

Since I was about 12 years old (I'm 25 now) I had this unusual red 'stain' on my right cheek. I also have a similar problem on my left cheek, however this one is almost nothing in comparison to the right one. This stain is getting more or less red depending on temperature, stress, physical exercise, shaving etc. but in the end it's always there. It's not painful or itchy, however when it gets more red I can feel a sort of warmth on my cheek. This stain feels a little bit rough and it has a tiny 'pimples' which can be seen under the magnifying glass, but there is nothing leaking out of there.

Over the of years I’ve visited many dermatologists with poor results. Everyone gave me different cream but neither worked. Of course the stain got more or less red some time after the cream application, but eventually it all went back to the same miserable state.

Right now I'm really frustrated. Instead of going to another dermatologist who will say to me that MAYBE this will help, I would like to meet someone who encountered this kind of problem before and knows how to treat it. So is there anyone who KNOWS how to help me?

Any form of help is greatly appreciated.
Thank you
