various symptoms- all related?

Post a new topicby mahayana on Mon Dec 21, 2009 1:57 pm

I wasn't sure where to post this. I'm a 60 year old male, always have been exceptionally healthy. Really haven't seen a doctor except dental and eye exams for many years. I've has a few cuts sewn up, one broken finger, pneumonia once back in the '70s. Fell off a ladder once and had pain pills and muscle relaxer for a couple of weeks.

Now I sweat too easilly, can't get a full erection, pee more frequently and not as much (strong for 30 secs, then weak for 30 secs, get up at least once every night), and have most of the symptoms on the low testosterone quiz. Beginnings of hair thinning at the widow's peak. I'm not overweight and don't have diabetes. I do smoke about a pack a day, and realize that's probably part of the problem.

So, what is it? Enlarged prostate, male version of menopause? I'd like to address this the cheapest way, don't have health insurance. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated. thanks
